Music Director Nina Gilbert’s background ranges from Kenya, where she translated Schubert’s Mass in G into Swahili while serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer, to Carnegie Hall, where she served as associate director of the New York Choral Society. She holds degrees from Princeton, Indiana, and Stanford Universities, and has led music for Lutheran, Presbyterian, Methodist, Jewish, and nondenominational congregations.
We are pleased to welcome her to our church family. Our choir, though small, is highly skilled.
If you’re interested in learning more or even joining the choir, please have a chat with Nina Gilbert or one of the choir members after church, or email the music department at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We usually have three congregational hymns each Sunday, most of them found in our hymnal, Glory to God, published in 2013 by the Presbyterian Church (USA).
We host concerts in our sanctuary and social hall throughout the year, and sometimes those artists also perform during the Sunday service.
