There’s free wifi and complimentary coffee every weekday from 9 am to 1 pm on our church patio. Everybody’s welcome. Whether you have to check your email, need a quiet place to read, or simply want a caffeine fix, stop on by! Enter from the Ivanhoe side of the church.
Why do we call it La Jolla Common? Because our American roots are in New England, where the Congregational meeting houses in the center of town weren’t devoted exclusively to religious purposes. All town meetings were held in these meeting houses, and all people were welcome to enter, whether or not they were members of the church. Just as these old meeting houses were (and usually still are) located on or next to the town common, we want to see our church building become a common gathering place for all people, both for worship and non-religious purposes.
